CUSTOMER SERVICE / COMPLAINTS INVESTIGATOR         £20-£25,000 pa doe
In order to comply with the financial services dispute resolution rules, all firms are required to have an effective procedure in place for dealing with complaints.

Due to a retirement, we now have an opportunity with a leading estate agency / property group to join their very well established compliance department that is responsible for managing any complaints raised.

As a Compliance / Complaints Investigator, you will be taking details of new complaints both over the telephone and in writing and managing the complaint through to resolution.  

Duties include;

  • Working in line with the fsa regulations Taking details of the complaint (primarily relating to mortgage and insurance services)
  • Researching the history and serious of events that lead to the complaint
  • Making detailed and accurate records on the database of any findings
  • Following a very strict complaints procedures (time limit rules, prompt acknowledgement letters, keeping customers informed etc)
  • Liaising with mortgage advisers and insurance advisers to investigate the complaint

    The ideal candidate will already have
  • some experience in complaints handling (ideally within a regulated business environment)
  • excellent written communication skills and letter drafting skills
  • an inquisitive nature

Hours of work: 9.00am-5.30pm Monday to Friday
Location: Leighton Buzzard
